What it lacks in history and significance, the monastery makes it up by the soothing and serene atmosphere of lush green vegetation. The efforts of the Lama Changsey to hold the urbanization gradually creeping in resulted in rows and rows of trees. The lama has planted a variety of trees in all shades of green like the pines, fir, oak, Popular Salix, thoza and the rare crytomeria ioponica. His green thumb has turned the place into a picturesque abode, where only the chirruping of birds and the rustle of the wind in the trees break the silence.
